When a customer reached out for help identifying where additional parking could go for IQVIA’s corporate headquarters without disrupting existing greenspace, the Design Worx team sprang into action. The complex’s structures, parking deck and greenspace took up nearly the entire usable area, so we offered a solution that they hadn’t previously considered – reinforcing a designated area of grass to accommodate occasional vehicular traffic. Solving Complex Challenges
For St. Mary Mattison Estates in PA, the Design Worx team developed an exhaustive dispersed underground water storage solution that required nine different retention and detention systems.
When working on a drainage project for St. Mary Mattison estate in PA, a site that comprises residential subdivisions and a four-story senior living unit built around a historic castle, the specifier was faced with narrow constraints and site complexity. The engineering firm partnered with the Design Worx team to tackle 385,000 cubic ft. of underground storage. It would require both retention and detention systems to prevent water from pooling onsite during heavy rainfall. After working closely with site engineers on numerous redesigns and regulatory approvals, the Design Worx team recommended a dispersed system that was spread out and reshaped to fit within the open areas of the site. With nine different units required, the team developed comprehensive project drawings, product specifications and installation instructions and was with the project team every step of the way.
